TopHop is a hoppy beer, a Session Ale, with a moderate bitterness of about 40 IBU but with lots of aroma from the latest harvest of hops. We have used the American hops centennial, simcoe, cascade and Amarillo. With 4,7% ABV, TopHop is a lighter beer than traditional IPA’s. We have brewed it with Munich malt and caramel malts to give it a little sweetness and a slight caramel taste, and the colour has become a light amber. We think that TopHop is the perfect beer together with spicy food, with strong cheese, blue cheese – or fine just on its own.
